It's hard going through a divorce and living in the same home. Finances make it hard for either of us to make the move. Also, you have to divide up all the furniture and personal things like pictures, books, cds, etc.
It's not that we hate each other its just that we don't love each other after 19 years of marriage. As my husband has aged, he has become a grand bore. Doesn't want to travel, see a movie, go out to eat or visit friends. He isn't even 60 but he seems to be in a rut. He is just not fun anymore.
Can't a woman have fun in her 50s? I refuse to act like an old lady so I will stay active. I guess it is better to be alone than stuck in this situation. My friends warn me that men have it easier and that I will never get a date at this age. I'm willing to take the chance.
